She sat there this morning in her space-saving high chair at the stained and scratched wood table.
A bowl of yogurt and applesauce, some oatmeal with milk, and a few crumbs of egg bake.
And her baby.
This little one loves to carry a little one with her.
She raises the spoon to the baby's rosy lips so she can have a bite of warm oats.
She rocks her back and forth and says, "I love it."
With a wet cloth she wipes away the leftovers from the baby's mouth.
And I am satisfied. Because I think that God's love in me is showing her how to love.
Thank You, Lord. May I continue to lead her as I follow you.
Emily, such a sweet, sweet post. It truly is an honor to be entrusted the care of the Lord's little ones (though I sometimes forget...sigh). His mercies are new every morning, the amazing grace of our Heavenly Father. Thank you for your visit. Praying you have a blessed week :)
